Like many people, I start my day by checking the news. Or at least, I try to…
The challenge today isn’t finding information. It’s finding information you can trust.
Between misinformation, sensational headlines, conflicting reports, and AI-generated content that can be difficult to verify, staying informed has become surprisingly time-consuming. Instead of gaining clarity, many people find themselves overwhelmed by information overload.
That got me thinking: what if there was a better way?
Rather than bouncing between websites, newsletters, social media feeds, and news apps every morning, I wanted a single source that could provide a clear overview of the topics that matter most to me.
The result was a personalized morning briefing that delivers a concise snapshot of the day’s most important developments, all in one place.
What makes it particularly useful is that it’s tailored to individual interests. Some people may want market updates, business news, and economic trends. Others may prefer technology, travel, sports, entertainment, or industry-specific insights. The framework can be adapted to focus on whatever matters most to the reader.
Another feature I appreciate is transparency. Every headline is tied back to its source, making it easy to dig deeper when a story catches your attention. Rather than relying on a single publication or perspective, it pulls together information from multiple reputable sources and presents it in a format that’s quick to review.
Most importantly, it saves time.
Instead of spending 30 minutes hunting for information across a dozen websites, I can get a high-level overview in just a few minutes and decide which stories deserve a closer look.
In a world where information is abundant but trust is increasingly scarce, having a reliable system for staying informed has become more valuable than ever.
I’ve been sharing examples of this morning briefing in my Practical AI newsletter, along with other practical ways AI can be used to save time and improve productivity in everyday business.
If you’d like to see how it works, subscribe to the newsletter for future editions, or reach out and send you my prompt (which you can easily personalize)… I can assure you, your mornings will never be the same!
